Fire accidents often occur suddenly and unexpectedly. If the fire is contained in the early stages, casualties and property losses will be greatly reduced. In view of this, Tung Tung Fire Department and the Sai Wan Community Care Team in Central and Western District have distributed 330 independent fire detectors to local residents free of charge, which is expected to benefit 330 families. This initiative aims to provide preventive measures for early detection of fires and also assist the Fire Services Department in raising public awareness of fire prevention.

Relevant staff from the Sai Wan Community Care Team in Central and Western District said: "We are very grateful for the generous donation from Tung Tung Fire Department. These fire detectors will bring more safety protection to the citizens. We will also actively cooperate with the Fire Services Department to strengthen fire prevention publicity and education and improve the self-protection ability of the citizens. "
